The Young 5 Rappers That Will Make Your Favorite Rap Lords Piss In Their Pants

The Young 5 Rappers That Will Make Your Favorite Rap Lords Piss In Their Pants

The hype around hip hop seems to be declining through the years, but there some determined to revive it.

While we have some glorified OGs, here are 5 youngsters who will make your favourite rapper piss their pants.

1. Hotycee

There was a time hip hop ruled the Nigerian music industry but in recent times Afro beats have come back to take the throne.

While there are still rap heads among the Nigerian listeners, most of our rappers right now are idolized just because they rap, as long as you can spit a decent sixteen in this country, you are a rap god, and this is because the rap heads in this country are just grateful to get any rap song, considering the fact that everyone wants to sing these days.

Last year M.I Abaga asked Nigerian rappers to fix up their life, but i hope M.i was sure of what he wished for because I doubt he can stand with the underground rapper Hotyce.

Apart from punchlines back to back, he is a story teller, taking you on a journey line by line and this is something we lack in this part of the world, our rappers just throw fancy words at us and expect to be applauded, but it takes more than that.

2. A-Q

One of the dopiest freestyle and battle rapper in the country, A-Q finesses intellect and gangsterism is such a way that there is no match, he and his partner Loose Kaynon have taken it upon themselves to save the rap scene.

3. Loose Kaynon

When he comes to intellect and the uses of big words, loose and his partner A-Q are the first to come to mind, there is a bit of prestige to their music and only those who are deemed worthy can vibe to it.

4. Dap The Contract

There is more to this dude than the bars, from his storytelling ability to the arrangement of his track, the maturity and quality of his music is beyond the Nigerian standard and for those who think Nigerian hip hop is dead should think again.

5. Blaq Bonez

The aura Of confidence that surrounds this guy can be visibly seen in his music, the self-awareness that he breathes through his track shows that he can stand bar to bar with any rapper in the country.

Your favourite rappers better watch out, because this underground rapper is not going to stay underground for long and if he keeps to his gun, he is coming for the throne

If I Quit Music, I Would Have Disappointed God— Zoro

If I Quit Music, I Would Have Disappointed God— Zoro

For Nigerian indigenous rapper/model, Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner, popularly known as Zoro, who relocated to Lagos at a time to pursue his career in music, the challenges of life may have tempted him to quit.

But he has been on the steady rise to fame since the release of his hit singles, O42, Otu, Ogene and Achikolo, featuring Phyno and Flavour.

Recounting the challenges he had to grapple with while struggling to stamp his feet on the music scene, he stated that besides his family, friends and people who looked up to him, God would have been disappointed if he had given up.

“Just before my biggest song, imagine if I had quit. My prayers before I had my first breakthrough always reminded me of how much God would be disappointed in me if I stopped. My family also played a very big part, plus I would let a lot of people that believe in me down if I messed things up”, he revealed.

He further revealed that being an independent artiste with a determination to succeed; it took him time to understand the dynamics of the Nigerian music industry.

“Being an independent artiste coming from the east to an entirely different Lagos market, I didn’t know my left from my right. It took me time to find my rhythm; but I’m fine now.

I had to live with an open mind, letting myself pass through the required change process”, he said.

Speaking further, he noted that contrary to public knowledge, the Nigerian entertainment industry is not what it seems looking at it from the outside.

“I have come to learn that the industry is not as sweet as people see it from the outside. There is a lot of mental, psychological and emotional stress attached to it”, he said. He added that compared to when he launched his music career, the music industry has appreciated a great deal.

Fatherhood is a stage where i learn many lessons – Sean Tizzle

Lessons Fatherhood Has Taught Me – Sean Tizzle

Afro-pop musician, Morihanfen Oluwaseun, a.k.a Sean Tizzle joined the growing number of ‘baby daddies’ on the Nigerian music scene in 2017, and for what it’s worth, he’s not ashamed to boast of it anytime the discussion arises.

Little wonder in a chat with Showtime, the multi-talented singer whose newly released hit single, ‘Lotto’ currently enjoys massive radio/TV airplay across the nation, was quick to reel out the benefits he has enjoyed and still enjoying from fatherhood. “Fatherhood has taught me to be more conscious of myself and my responsibilities.

It is safe to say that my baby girl’s birth changed my life and being an amazing father is one of the most fulfilling experiences”, he said. Not only has fatherhood been a blessing to the ‘Sho Le’ crooner as a person, it has also been of immense benefit to his music craft.

“Yes, fatherhood has affected my music positively; it has given me more motivation to work harder”, he said. He added that as at the time he became a father, nothing would have made him give up the opportunity. “No; not at all, nothing would have made me give up the experience. It is a very important part of my journey”, he noted.

Speaking about his entire music journey since he debuted on the Nigerian music scene, he said; “I think I have grown musically and also as a brand a lot has evolved with and around me, i.e my style, and I would like to think that my sound has gotten more unique over time, but the fans also have a huge part to play in how well they appreciate my works, because I try to put myself out but sometimes people tend to forget or ignore you when you are trying to get to the top.

I have not failed music wise so I think it’s been a success and we keep working and keep getting better.”

The Best Producer Nigeria Has Ever Had is SARZ or Who? – You All Need To Read This

The Best Producer Nigeria Has Ever Had is SARZ or Who? – You All Need To Read This

Osabuohein Osaretin popular known as SARZ ON THE BEAT with his unique intro REAALLYY is a Nigerian record producer, musician and part time disc jockey.

Sarz is arguably the best producer in Nigeria at the moment, and has produced tracks for the likes of
Wizkid, Burna Boy, Dagrin, Wande Coal, Reminisce, Skepta , Niniola ,
Chris Brown , Drake and also a
Hennessy Artistry themed song.
The big question is have you ever listened to a track produced by Sarz and the beat overshadows the lyrics of the track or the lyrics overshadow the beat?
The big answer is NO.

Sarz has a unique way of balancing the beat with the lyrics of the song which makes you able to know the artiste did a good job on the track.

He has also delivered on the production aspect for example on the
Oja track by Reminisce, the beat was hard core and a vibe able beat but the audience was also able to get the lyrics right which was where the popular slang “ STAY JIGGY BI PAPA WEMBA” was gotten from.

Sarz is a producer who makes hard core beats you can relate to even without having a lyric unlike some producers which makes him very unique from others.

This can been seen in tracks like “ Beat of Life (Samba) ” featuring
Wizkid, Maradona by Niniola , “ Diet ” by Dj Enimoney featuring Reminisce ,
Tiwa Savage and Slimcase , Bad Energy by Skepta featuring
Wizkid and lots more.

Also his personally released album titled “ SARZ IS NOT YOUR MATE” which is a compilation of beats only is still topping charts around the country which also makes him the first producer in Nigeria to release an album of beats only.

Sarz has been in the industry since 2007 and produced his first A –list track for Ruggedman , and has not changed his style of producing ever since.
I was at the recently concluded
Mainland Block Party and Sarz was a guest disc jockey, and this guy surprisingly didn’t spin any song throughout his stay on deck.

Sarz played beats of every song he has produced for top acts without the lyrics of every track and everyone was thrilled about this, a producer doing what our disc jockeys dare not do.

This is what makes SARZ unique from every other producer and it is safe to say that he is the best producer Nigeria has ever had.

So Guys
Do You Think Sarz Is The Best Producer Nigeria Has Ever Had?

Let’s have your thoughts on this

Lyta’ s “ Time ” And Fireboy ’s “Jealous ” – Which of them Is the best and Bigger Song ? Let settle this...

Lyta’ s “ Time ” And Fireboy ’s “Jealous ” – Which of them Is the best  and  Bigger Song ? Let settle this...

It’s no longer new that YBNL boss, Olamide has laid off one of his signee, Lyta for some highly controversial and unclear reasons.

From information gathered from
Olamide himself and Lyta, we can deduce that the boss probably sent Lyta out of YBNL because he has a new artiste that has the same recording pattern with Lyta which is
Fireboy DML .

Lyta came into limelight with his song tittled “ Time ” alongside Junior Boy, he got signed to YBNL due to the general acceptability of the song, then he did a refix featuring the YBNL boss, Olamide as his first official single at YBNL.

Many music critics was of the fact that Lyta’s “ Time ” was the pioneering song of other motivational songs that we had back then in 2018. Songs like Victor AD’s “ Wetin We Gain “, Areezy’s “ Ori” was few of the songs that “ Time ” fueled their inspiration.

Now we have the new guy on the block, Fireboy topping charts with his Mind-esque song titled “ Jealous “. Fireboy was signed to YBNL earlier this year and he came out with his debut single that made one the tracks of the YBNL Mafia Album released sometimes back.

Jealous is the new anthem of the whole music industry, the song keep breaking bounds on its own, cutting across continents and it feels like we’ve not seen a song from an upcoming act doing this great before. where has Mayorkun’s Eleko did further.

Though the promotional strategy sets aside by the YBNL camp for this song is enormous and very big, that it will sure blow even a wack song. Fireboy was the first YBNL act that will have his song advertise on the Lekki Toll Gate billboard.

The song was pitched on almost all African music playlist on Apple Music, Spotify and many more digital stores. All these promotions wasn’t made available for Lyta’s song “ Time “, but then it grew organically on us all last year and we all vibe to it that year.

Perhaps, I’ll like to throw it out to us all, to get this case settled of whether Olamide made a huge mistake for letting Lyta go because he has Fireboy.

So Guys

Between Lyta’s “Time” And Fireboy’s “Jealous” – Which Is A Bigger Song?

Do You Think Olamide Made A Mistake For Sacking Lyta Because Of Fireboy?

We’ll like to have your utmost contribution to this one..

Here Are The Top Nigerian Musicians That Blew And Then Went Back To Being Upcoming Artiste

The Nigeria Music Industry is moving very fast. The trends come and go, new talents emerges everyday, and old musicians think of new ways to stay relevant.
If you are a musician in this volatile business, then you have to master the art of change. A good number of Nigerian musicians have been able to pull it off while some others have been too slow to handle it.
There are certain others who had their big breaks but failed to leverage on it consistently until they really got to the height of their careers.
They released hit songs, got really popular, and then just as fast as they made it, dropped back to the ‘upcoming list.’ For some, they just lost their lucky streaks and for others, they relaxed a little too much by failing to even release songs.
You’ll certainly agree with me that the following Nigerian musicians ‘blew’ and then suddenly became upcoming all over again.
Ice Prince
Gone are the days where girls were screaming ‘TeanZamani.’ For some reason, Ice prince and his wonderful hits are no more. Unlike Brymo, Ice prince had more than one hit song.
From ‘Aboki’, to ‘Oleku’, ‘I swear’, ‘More’, and so many really thrilling tracks. Even the one he did with music veteran, Sunny Nneji’ was wonderful. Alas, 2017 and he seems to be completely forgotten. For some reason, his 2016 songs didn’t do well and we haven’t heard anything new from him since then.
The wonders of being a winner of Project Fame West Africa are immense. You get a recording contract, get exposure, a brand new car, and get a sudden pay out in millions of Naira. However, none of these things has helped Chidinma remain in the limelight.
Her name isn’t forgotten as she has been in the media. She has however not been on our tv screens or radio stations well enough for us to hear her. Her last few songs have been poor and she appears to have given up. We’re hoping she releases something soon enough before she fades into oblivion completely.
Brymo came into the spotlight out of nowhere and he stole our hearts in an instant. Olawale Ashimi, better known as Brymo, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and composer. Unfortunately, he hasn’t really been worthy of that status since.
Formally Signed under Chocolate City, he has released a few albums that haven’t really done well. If you have the average Nigerian about Brymo, they’ll probably only remember him because of his track ‘Ara’ which was released as far back as far back as 2011. In fact, that was his first track under Chocolate City. What’s happening?
We can all agree that 9ice has had his fair share of popularity. He has also stayed in the industry long enough. Somewhere at the peak of his career, he decided to use his fame and goodwill to pursue his other dream which just happened to be politics.
We do hope that is working out for him somehow. What we know, however, is that his attempts at coming back hasn’t just worked well. Let’s hope he pulls back up in good time or we’ll just have to add him to our list of past wonders.
Rudi Omo Ibile
Abiola Babatunde Afeez with d stage name RUDY OMOIBILE is the crooner of LONI LOMA DELEYIN a song that receive a massive acceptance from the Nigeria community after which he release another Hit Song Titled PATE obo early last year.
Even though PATE OBO is a very dirty song that doesn’t stop it from making a massive wave in the Nigeria Industry when release early 2016. Rudi Omo Ibile is also popular for track like SHINAA, KIKI (THICK) and so on.
He is being managed by STREET TUNEZ ENTERTAINMENT But ever since the release of PATE obo the Nigeria listeners have been asking questions about the where about of RUDI OMO IBILE.
Others are Faze, Sky B, MI, Kelly Handsome, Eedris Abdulkareem, Omawunmi, Mr raw nwanne, & Daddy showkey.
Who do you think we missed out ?
