First Gay Radio Station In Africa Opens In South Africa

A radio station has opened for the
LGBT community in South Africa and it is the first gay-themed radio in the continent.
According to BBC, GaySAradio produces content for Africa’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and intersex communities and is trying to counter homophobia and break down stereotypes.
The BBC’s Christian Parkinson spent the day at the station in the capital, Pretoria.
